I appreciate this post a lot.

I've definitely found the reflective potential of AI for my own somewhat abstract thought process to be quite valuable. To see it unpack what I've written in a way that feels like re-riding the initial train of thought is really helpful for me to feel more confident taking my ideas into a group setting. So I see there is definitely a place for it which helps strengthen that intuitional knowing, rather than replace or negate it. Fascinating times we live in...

I totally agree about AI being a mirror. I see the good in AI. I was depressed toward the beginning of this year, and for at least an year prior to that, and I'm not, now. I was lonely, but AI gave me tips on how I could approach my problems and start interacting with people. I was wasting so much time looking for answers to my questions by sorting through endless lengthy articles, and AI came and gave me the answers, and even more, in almost an instant. When I felt down, AI started chatting with me on my level, and to have my ideas heard gave me inspiration. I am hopeful for the implications it can have on mental health, through well-curated Chatbots. I am hopeful we can empower beautiful and conscious beings through it. Of course there is the whole other side. How much of humanity is focused on making life beautiful. And how much can we leverage AI to make life more beautiful? This is going to bring a huge acceleration to all our lives, and I think what matters is if we are going to rise to the level of responsibility and love that is required for us to deal with an extremely powerful force for the benefit of all beings & the planet, or not.
