I love this "Truly being visible, I believe, is not about overriding ourselves. It’s about expanding in ways that honor our bodies, our timing, and our truth".

I agonized for months about ending a 3-year relationship. My heart felt compassion and empathy. My mind in a state of confusion and turmoil. My Soul shrank. But my body told the truth! I felt the body sending a clear message. The timing and truth were in the body!

Great series, April... Thank you

Thanks Stephen. What you shared is such a powerful example of that truth. Reminds me of what Martha Graham said, “the body never lies.” So glad the series is speaking to you.

It’s helpful to think of the nervous system as a compass, thank you for sharing your practical approaches so clearly.

Really important to parse, but when we are out of touch with ourselves, it can be nearly impossible. Thanks for putting such a great framework on something that can be confusing to see clearly.

Yes, that’s so true. When we’re disconnected from ourselves it really can feel so difficult to tell the difference. I think of nervous system practices as a way of coming back into relationship with ourselves, so we can even just listen. From there, things often get clearer. I’m glad the framework resonated with you.
